In January 2025, following a 13-month search, Turnwell Capital acquired TexPro Equipment Inc. (d/b/a EQUIPRO), https://equiprotx.com an authorized equipment dealer and service center serving the light construction industry in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex since 2006.

We continue to evaluate acquisition opportunities in closely related industries.

Our Team

Founder & Principal Investor

Advisor

Sathya Ramanathan, is the Founder, Principal Investor, and Managing Director of Turnwell Capital. With more than 20 years of experience in technology, he is focused on applying his background in operations, finance, and systems to the acquisition and growth of traditional equipment businesses serving construction, landscaping, and related industries.

As a co-founder of FileCloud, Shawn helped scale the company from a bootstrapped startup into a business generating $10 million in annual revenue. He led an engineering organization of more than 50 engineers and managers and also served as CFO during the company’s early years, helping oversee financial operations and private equity diligence in connection with a $40 million Series A financing.

His expertise spans general management, financial accounting, and the practical application of technology to improve operational performance. He studied Engineering and Information Systems at Texas Tech University.

Since acquiring TexPro Equipment in 2025, Shawn has worked closely within the business to support operations, growth, and long-term improvement across the organization. That firsthand operating experience reinforces Turnwell Capital’s commitment to being a thoughtful long-term owner of businesses in this industry.

Madhan Kanagavel, previously lead FileCloud's product vision, strategy, and execution. Bootstrapped the business to over 90+ team spread across 15 countries serving over 3000+ enterprise customers. Raised a 40MM Series A in 2021.

He has 20+ years of building product, including software server architecture and consumer-focused product development experience in Web, Desktop and Mobile environments.
